The Charleston County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) is now accepting applications for the 2024 – 2026 community representative term. The CJCC is seeking community members to fill the following positions:
- Local graduate program community in a related field of study
- Local community-at-large
- One designated liaison from any other entity deemed appropriate by the Executive Committee
“The CJCC has a successful track record of using collaboration, partnership, and data to make our community a better place,” said Anthony Bishara, Ph.D., Graduate Community Representative in a Related Field of Study when asked why he serves.
Community representatives attend and participate in CJCC meetings and workgroups. They provide critical feedback from the community in the CJCC process. The community representatives elect one community representative to serve as the third member on the CJCC Executive Committee.
