Due to the low temperatures forecasted for this week, the following locations will be opening their Warming Center to provide shelter for community members without adequate heat and/or those experiencing homelessness: Seacoast Summerville, Holy City Mission at Aldergate Methodist, and Hibben UMC.
Men, women, and families are welcome. Admission is from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m.; guests must leave shelters each morning at 7 a.m. Seacoast will accept up to 20 pets total for intake at a mobile shelter, offered by non-profit Sheltered Paws, next to the warming center on Gum Street; pets will be eligible for free vaccinations, a physical exam, and food/water.
Seacoast Summerville

- Hibben transports to the shelter in the evening; CARTA picks up from Hibben each morning
