Due to the expected low temperatures, Seacoast Church Summerville, located at 301 E. 5th N. Street in Summerville, will be opening their Warming Center to provide shelter for men, women, and families without adequate heat and/or those experiencing homelessness on Sunday, Dec. 14; Monday, Dec. 15; and Tuesday, Dec. 16. Admission will begin at 7 p.m. each day and guests must leave the center at 7 a.m. the following day.
Pets will be accepted at a mobile shelter next to the warming center and will be eligible for free vaccinations and physical exam and food.
