BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. — Scout Motors is proud to recognize the first cohort of Production Associates to complete the company's automotive training program, a workforce development initiative organized in partnership with Midlands Technical College.
The program was designed to equip Scout Motors’ Production Associates with foundational automotive manufacturing knowledge and hands-on skills that will support future vehicle production at the company’s Production Center in Blythewood, South Carolina.
The inaugural group of graduates completed 15 weeks of training focused on key manufacturing principles, technical competencies, and production processes. The Compressed Automotive Training program reflects Scout Motors' broader commitment to workforce development in South Carolina and to creating meaningful career pathways in advanced manufacturing.
Scout Motors opened its Training Center, in partnership with the South Carolina Technical College System and ReadySC™, in April, and continues to train more production teams on the premises. Scout Motors is currently hiring for Production Associate roles and encourages potential applicants to visit scoutmotors.sctechjobs.com.
Scout Motors extends its appreciation to Midlands Technical College for its partnership in developing and delivering the program and congratulates the graduates on this significant achievement.
