COLUMBIA, S.C. — On Oct. 28 at 10:30 a.m., South Carolina ETV and Public Radio (SCETV) will livestream a press conference with Gov. Henry McMaster and community and state agency leaders announcing the activation of the One SC Fund by the Central Carolina Community Foundation.
The announcement follows notice from the U.S. Department of Agriculture that federal funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will be halted effective Nov. 1. Activation of the One SC Fund will enable a coordinated charitable giving campaign dedicated to providing direct monetary assistance to regional food banks and local feeding partners across the state.
