The Rotary Club of North Charleston Breakfast is proud to announce the successful completion of the 2025–2026 Dictionary Project, a signature literacy initiative serving third-grade students across schools throughout the greater Charleston region.
In partnership with the Interact Club of Military Magnet Academy, Rotary members delivered nearly 700 dictionaries to third-grade classrooms. In addition to providing dictionaries, Rotarians and cadets introduced students to the values of Rotary, highlighting service, leadership, and community involvement.
“This project truly reflects the heart of Rotary,” said Robbie Snyder, member of the Rotary Club of North Charleston Breakfast. “Working alongside the Military Magnet Academy Interact Club allows us to promote literacy while also modeling service and leadership. Seeing the excitement from students and cadets alike reminds us why this project matters year after year.”
The Rotary Club extends sincere appreciation to Robbie Snyder and Col. Joe Dawson for their instrumental leadership in organizing this annual initiative. Special recognition is also given to the Military Magnet Academy Interact Club students for their professionalism and strong representation, and to the Rotarians whose dedication continues to make this project impactful.
