As part of Charleston County’s ongoing Resurfacing Plan, crews will begin resurfacing Ashley Town Center Drive in West Ashley on Monday, March 31. Work will be completed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays to minimize disruption and is expected to be completed in mid-April.
Funded by the Charleston County Transportation Committee, this project includes milling and replacing the existing asphalt on Ashley Town Center Drive and the adjacent Rondo Street, which will improve safety and increase the life span of the roadway.
Intermittent nighttime lane closures will be in effect while work is underway. Traffic control and flaggers will be on-site to direct motorists.
Crews will make every effort to limit disruption to nearby residents as work is being completed.
As always, drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area.
