Pet Helpers will host its inaugural "Paw-It-Forward" Community Yard Sale, scheduled for Sunday, December 15, 2024, starting at 12 pm. This event, held at the Pet Helpers shelter, is an opportunity for community members to acquire essential pet supplies at no cost while supporting local animal welfare initiatives.
The yard sale will feature a wide selection of gently used and new pet supplies, including leashes, collars, beds, crates, kennels and toys, made available free of charge. Attendees are encouraged to take what they need and consider making a voluntary contribution to support the shelter's ongoing efforts to assist pets in the Lowcountry.
“We love days where we can give back to our community that is always there for us,” said Melissa Susko, Executive Director of Pet Helpers. “Any time we can make pet ownership more feasible for people means they are more likely to be able to open their homes to pets in need.”
Pet Helpers is located at 1447 Folly Road on James Island. Due to limited parking at the shelter, attendees are encouraged to park at Publix and walk to the event.
