Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum proudly recognizes March as Member Appreciation Month. This month-long celebration acknowledges the vital support of our members, offering exclusive programming, giveaways, discounts, and more.
“Members are the backbone of our museum, and we are thrilled to dedicate an entire month to celebrating their support,” said Kayla Webber, USS Yorktown Foundation’s Director of Community Relations & Membership. “Their contributions help us preserve our historic ships, expand our educational programs, and continue creating immersive exhibits for future generations.”
Members can take advantage of premier programs, offering interesting experiences for the whole family. Highlights include:
- Member Captain’s Tour – Join expert guides on a captivating journey through the museum, gaining deeper insights and experiencing history like never before.
- Below Decks: Behind Closed Hatches – Join our Curatorial Department as they take you Below Decks for an exclusive virtual journey to a rarely seen area of the USS Yorktown, uncovering hidden stories and spaces not open to the public.
- Member Monday Giveaways – Woodhouse Spa, Palmetto Breeze, and Charleston RiverDogs tickets are just a few of the prizes available for members to win each week.
- Yorktown Movie & Game Night: This family-friendly evening of fun will include games, live music, lite bites, and a movie screening. Event is open to the public and will be held aboard the USS Yorktown on March 28 from 6–10 PM. Ticket purchase required.
Additionally, new or renewing members can receive $10 off any Friend of the Fleet membership level and gain immediate access to Member Month events and activities.
