SPARTANBURG COUNTY – Today, Palmetto Corp., a construction company providing paving services and site development solutions, and Luck Stone, a family-owned and operated provider of crushed stone aggregates and environmental performance products, announced a new partnership that will bring Palmetto Corp.’s operations to Luck Stone’s existing Enoree site.
Palmetto Corp. will invest $15,000,000 to construct a state-of-the-art asphalt plant supporting road construction, resurfacing, and infrastructure development across the region. The project is expected to create 50 jobs and begin operations in spring 2026.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to thoughtful growth that supports local communities, strengthens infrastructure, and creates meaningful employment opportunities in Spartanburg County.
“We are pleased to join Luck Stone in Enoree to streamline the logistics of our asphalt manufacturing process and bring good-paying jobs to Spartanburg County,” said Eric Faulk, Chief Operating Officer of Palmetto Corp. “Once completed, we will be able to employ the latest technology to turn the crushed aggregate we purchase from Luck Stone into asphalt at the same location, increasing our efficiency and effectiveness as a company.”
Both companies have demonstrated a long-term commitment to South Carolina. Last year, Luck Stone announced plans for significant investment across Chester, Edgefield, Saluda, and Spartanburg counties, in addition to expanding its Fairfield and Kershaw County sites. Palmetto Corp.’s Enoree location represents the company’s eighth plant in the state and its second in two years, following the opening of its Fairfield County site, reinforcing its continued investment in South Carolina.
“Luck Stone is proud to support Palmetto Corp.’s growth through this co-location agreement,” said Trevor McLouth, Vice President – South Carolina, Luck Stone. “This partnership reflects how we approach growth at Luck Companies: with a focus on people, community, and long-term impact. Our mission to ignite human potential and make a positive impact guides how and where we grow, and we’re excited about what this means for Spartanburg County.”
This marks the second time Luck Stone and Palmetto Corp. have partnered on a co-location in South Carolina. The Palmetto Corp. plant will operate within the existing footprint of the Enoree site, which began operations in December 2024.
