The City of Charleston, in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and MasTec-Civil, will implement nighttime lane closures for Ashley River Crossing bridge construction.
MasTec will close northbound U.S. 17 beginning near the intersection of Albemarle Road, continuing about 0.5 miles north, and ending near the exit ramp to Lockwood Boulevard from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025.
Drivers are urged to use extreme caution when traveling through the work zone.
