The City of Charleston, in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Transportation and Mastec-Civil, will implement nighttime lane closures for Ashley River Crossing bridge construction.
MasTec will close U.S. 17 northbound from near the intersection of Albemarle Road to the exit ramp to Lockwood Boulevard — a stretch of about a half-mile — from 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, to 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
