The City of Charleston, in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and MasTec-Civil, will implement nighttime lane closures for the Ashley River Crossing bridge construction project.
MasTec will close northbound U.S. Highway 17 beginning near the intersection of Albemarle Road, continuing approximately one-half mile north and ending near the exit ramp to Lockwood Boulevard from 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 22.
Drivers are urged to use extreme caution when traveling through the work zone.
