Ashley Hall today announced the addition of two new positions to its leadership team. Shana Stockton was recently appointed director of institutional advancement, where she will lead all fundraising efforts for Ashley Hall School. Laura Jordan will serve as associate director of institutional advancement.
Previously as Ashley Hall’s director of stewardship and gift planning, Stockton will now oversee the school's overall advancement efforts, including working closely with the school’s board of trustees, leading donor stewardship and ongoing donor and alumnae relations, while Jordan will lead the school’s major gifts and planned giving programs.
Stockton brings 20 years of professional experience focusing on institutional advancement in the independent school market space and a deep-rooted connection to the community and the institution.
With 17 years of experience in the field, Jordan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Ashley Hall. Before joining the school, she held positions at The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, Georgia, and The Citadel Foundation in Charleston.
"We are thrilled to welcome Laura to the Ashley Hall team and witness and support Shana’s continued growth as a respected leader on our staff," said Dr. Anne Weston, Ashley Hall’s head of school and a 1973 graduate. “Their combined experience and passion for all-girls education are invaluable as we continue to support our current students and strengthen our school’s for our future students."
At the beginning of this school year, Ashley Hall celebrated its 115th year of educating girls and young women to be independent, ethically responsible, and prepared to meet the challenges of their world with confidence. “The world has changed,” shared Dr. Weston. “Our mission has not.”
