The NeoHERO Foundation will host its first-ever online silent auction from Friday, May 2 at 12 p.m. through Sunday, May 4 at 12 p.m. The auction will help support their mission of providing expert guidance, resources, equipment, and education to local fire and EMS crew members for the neonatal population during prehospital transport.
The interactive online auction will be hosted at https://event.gives/nhf, where participants can browse and bid on a variety of local goods and experiences. Bidders will receive real-time notifications if they’ve been outbid, giving them the chance to stay in the game until the auction closes. There is no entry fee—participants only pay if they win.

Currently in the state of South Carolina it is not a requirement that EMS and fire be trained in neonatal resuscitation. In addition, the state does not provide the neonatal-sized equipment. Through grants, donations, and sponsorships, NeoHERO is working to raise the funds to pay for this training and equipment.
