The recurring investment would support implementation of the City’s Safety Action Plan, finalized in December 2025, which aims to eliminate roadway fatalities and serious injuries through targeted, data-driven improvements along Charleston’s high-injury network.
Transportation choice affects people’s daily lives in countless ways, from access to healthy food and health care to opportunities to connect with family, friends, and community. These are the kinds of investments that directly shape Charleston’s quality of life.
