Make-A-Wish® South Carolina announced the election of Stephanie Postell (pictured), Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Anchor Heating and Air, to its Board of Directors. A Charleston native and longtime community advocate, Postell will focus on growing awareness, partnerships, and philanthropy to grant more wishes for South Carolina children facing critical illnesses.
Postell’s leadership is already closely tied to the mission. Anchor Heating and Air has served as a sponsor of Make-A-Wish South Carolina’s Wish Night gala, and in 2025, Postell was honored as a W.I.S.H. (Women Inspiring Strength & Hope) Society honoree. She was also named the Lowcountry “Woman of the Year,” raising nearly $34,000 to help grant wishes for local kids. She brings a mentor-at-heart mindset to board service and is especially interested in supporting the Lowcountry W.I.S.H. Society and mentoring future honorees.
“Stephanie leads with both heart and execution,” said Misty Farmer, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish South Carolina. “Her connection to the Lowcountry community, proven fundraising leadership, and commitment to mentorship will help us reach more families and deliver more wish journeys that bring hope, joy, and strength.”
“A wish empowers a child and lifts an entire family,” said Stephanie Postell. “I’m honored to serve on the board and to continue rallying our community so even more South Carolina kids can experience the confidence, relief, and togetherness a wish makes possible.”
