Meet Metal + Petal, the Charleston and Athens, Ga.-based interior design firm that reimagined a former pizzeria and brewery into Charleston's newest upscale event space, The Waverly—a venue unlike any other in the Holy City. In collaboration with Uptown Hospitality Group, Metal + Petal artfully designed the space to effortlessly adapt to each event planner's vision, ensuring a bespoke experience for every occasion.

"Located minutes from King Street and Charleston's renowned nightlife and culinary scene, the venue balances classic Lowcountry charm with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic," shares Jade Joyner, Metal + Petal's co-founder and principal designer. "While subtle nods to historic Charleston remain, our design embraces the city's evolving identity, featuring modern color palettes, sleek fixtures and unexpected details that capture Charleston's dynamic and creative spirit."
The venue offers elegant private suites where brides and grooms can get ready alongside friends and family.
The 3,000-square-foot reception hall serves as the perfect dining, dancing and memory-making space for up to 200 guests.
Outside, the beautifully landscaped courtyard is a romantic open-air backdrop for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours.
