The City of Charleston, in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Transportation and MasTec-Civil, will implement nighttime lane closures for Ashley River Crossing bridge construction.
MasTec will close U.S. 17 northbound beginning near the intersection of Albemarle Road, continuing approximately 0.5 miles north and ending near the exit ramp to Lockwood Boulevard. The closure will begin Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at 9 p.m. and remain in effect until Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at 6 a.m.
Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
