The City of Charleston, in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Transportation and MasTec-Civil, will implement nighttime lane closures for construction on the Ashley River Crossing bridge.
MasTec will close U.S. Highway 17 northbound beginning near the intersection of Albemarle Road and continuing approximately 0.5 miles north to the exit ramp for Lockwood Boulevard. The closure will be in effect from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026.
Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
