The City of Charleston, in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Transportation and MasTec Civil, will implement nighttime lane closures for Ashley River Crossing bridge construction.
MasTec will close U.S. 17 northbound beginning near the intersection of Albemarle Road, continuing approximately 0.5 miles north and ending near the exit ramp to Lockwood Boulevard. The closure will be in effect from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026.
Motorists are urged to use extreme caution when traveling through the work zone.
