Kids Teeth is continuing its holiday tradition of giving back by launching the 2025 donation drive in support of Windwood Family Services. As a pediatric dental practice rooted in the Lowcountry since 1979, Kids Teeth invites the community to help bring hope and healing to children affected by abuse, neglect, or trauma this holiday season.
Windwood Family Services provides residential and community-based programs that help children heal and thrive. This year’s drive will support those efforts with therapeutic gifts and essentials, guided by a curated Amazon wishlist featuring items like journals, puzzles, fidget toys, and coloring books, which are commonly used in trauma-informed care. The team’s goal is to fill 28 stockings for the children at Windwood.
“The families in this community have trusted us with their children’s care for generations, and that loyalty means everything to us,” said Dr. Mike Myers. “Giving back is our way of saying thank you. It’s an honor to work with kids and families every day, and supporting organizations like Windwood lets us extend that care beyond our practice; it’s part of who we are.”

For more than four decades, Kids Teeth has been more than just a dental practice; it’s been an active community partner. Since opening as Dr. Jan’s Dentistry for Children and Infants in 1979, the team has supported dozens of local causes, including school music programs, autism awareness walks, Down syndrome advocacy, and youth sports throughout Mt. Pleasant.
