Joye Law Firm is proud to serve as the “Safe Ride Home” sponsor for Charleston Beerfest on Saturday October 26th from noon-7pm at Riverfront Park in North Charleston.
Beerfest, Charleston’s premier beer event, features over 65 breweries serving up samples of local favorites plus new IPAs, reds, ales, stouts, sours, ciders, and many more styles from around North and South Carolina, Georgia, and beyond.
“We couldn’t be prouder of the list of amazing craft breweries! Not only do these breweries make great beer, but each of them is generously supporting our community and the work we do each and every day,” said Richard Reams, director of development and marketing for Palmetto Community Care. “We have our best mix yet of returning favorites as well as new breweries, so everyone is sure to find one of their favorite beers and keep adding to their list with new ones. We worked our butts off to partner with more breweries than ever before, and I truly think it has paid off — we are so pleased to showcase the regional craft beer community at Charleston Beerfest.”
The festivities will also showcase an impressive musical lineup featuring Empire Strikes Brass, Kanika Moore and the Brown-Eyed Bois, and Dustbowl Revival. In addition to all the live music and craft brews, festival attendees will be treated to a wide range of food trucks and a Vendor Village featuring local artisans and craft vendors.
General admission tickets include festival access, a commemorative festival mug, and beer tastings. VIP tickets get a commemorative festival mug, early festival access at 12 p.m., a custom VIP tasting glass, and access to the VIP Oasis with shaded seating, misting fans, exclusive activities, free VIP-only beer tastings, light snacks, and private restroom trailers.
All ticket holders are eligible for a free rideshare voucher courtesy of Joye Law Firm, as part of the firm’s Safe Ride Home sponsorship.
“We want people to come out to ‘Drink Beer and Do Good’ but we also want to make sure they are enjoying themselves responsibly. We’ve been an injury law firm in North Charleston since 1968, so we know all too well the devastating effects of drinking and driving,” explains the firm’s senior partner Atty. Mark Joye. “So, we jumped at the opportunity to provide free Uber vouchers so festival-goers can come out and have fun, all while keeping themselves and others on the road safe.”
Ticket holders are encouraged to register for their free Safe Ride Home before the event. The $25 Uber voucher will be delivered by email on the day of the festival.
