Highline Hospitality is pleased to announce the appointment of Keane Bell as Vice President of Asset Management, further strengthening the firm’s leadership team as it continues to grow and optimize its hospitality portfolio — including the highly anticipated debut of The Lowline Hotel in Charleston, opening summer 2026.
Keane joins Highline Hospitality with extensive experience driving operational performance and asset value creation across full-service, select-service, and luxury hotel portfolios. He brings a unique combination of ownership and operator expertise, with a proven track record of maximizing cash flow, enhancing guest experiences, and delivering long-term value for stakeholders.
Most recently, Keane served as Vice President of Franchise Operations and Owner Relations at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he oversaw more than 120 full-service franchise hotels across the Americas. In that role, he partnered with owners and management companies to improve topline revenue, profitability, operational execution, and overall asset health while ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategic initiatives.
His experience within the Hyatt ecosystem will be especially valuable as Highline prepares to launch The Lowline Hotel, one of the first properties in the southeastern United States to join JdV by Hyatt — Hyatt’s independent lifestyle collection. The hotel, currently undergoing a full renovation and reimagination of the former Hyatt Place Charleston Historic District, is poised to become a dynamic lifestyle destination along Charleston’s vibrant King Street corridor.
Prior to Hyatt, Keane held senior leadership positions at hotelAVE and RLJ Lodging Trust, where he managed large-scale hotel portfolios, executed capital strategies, and drove measurable gains in EBITDA, market share, and operating efficiency.
“We are thrilled to welcome Keane to Highline,” said Chuck Pomerantz, Managing Partner at Highline. “His deep industry expertise, strategic mindset, and results-oriented leadership make him an exceptional addition to our team. As we continue to expand our portfolio and prepare for the opening of The Lowline Hotel, Keane’s experience — particularly within the Hyatt system — will be invaluable in driving performance and creating long-term value.”
In his new role, Keane will oversee asset management strategy across Highline’s portfolio, working closely with ownership partners, operators, and internal teams to maximize investment returns, enhance operational performance, and support the company’s continued growth. He will also play a key leadership role in the operational and strategic execution surrounding The Lowline Hotel’s opening and long-term positioning within the Charleston market.
“I’m excited to join Highline at such a dynamic time for the company and the industry,” said Keane Bell. “Highline has built an impressive platform and reputation, and I look forward to contributing to the team’s continued success while supporting the launch and growth of distinctive properties like The Lowline Hotel.”
