Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary today announced that construction is set to begin for The Cattery, a new facility on their campus that will be able to house 80-100 cats. The construction of The Cattery represents a significant milestone in Hallie Hill's commitment to providing care for more than 200 animals housed at the sanctuary at any one time.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new animal care facility will take place on Dec. 11 at 11 am at Hallie Hill's property, 5604 New Road, Hollywood, SC. The ceremony will be followed by refreshments and a sneak peek at The Cattery. The event is free and open to the public.
Since 1988, Hallie Hill has been providing sanctuary for homeless animals and animals with special needs. Last year, the organization began construction of The Hub; a large multipurpose facility that is the heart of the Sanctuary. With construction on The Hub recently completed, The Cattery is phase two of the sanctuary’s build-out.
