HOLLYWOOD, SC - Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary this week announced the launch of a new Dog Safety Education Program designed for children ages 5-12, made possible through the generous support of The Exchange Club of Charleston.
This engaging and interactive course teaches children how to safely and respectfully interact with dogs. With a focus on empathy, awareness, and responsible behavior, the program teaches essential skills to recognize dog body language, avoid risky situations, and build positive, confident relationships with animals.
“A healthy relationship between a dog and a child helps to build a wonderful bond. But it’s important that children know how to properly and safely interact with dogs, for their benefit as well as the dog’s,” said Hallie Hill, Executive Director, Jennifer Middleton.
