This Thanksgiving season, Drawing Near to God (DNG), a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting women and fostering life-changing community based in faith, has partnered with Evening of Prayer Ministries to provide holiday meals to 500 families in the Charleston Heights neighborhood.
“Community is at the heart of everything we do,” shared Rebecca Poisson, executive director of DNG. “We’re honored to partner with Evening of Prayer and be the hands and feet of Jesus to families right here in our city.”
This collaboration connects DNG’s extensive network of women with Evening of Prayer’s longstanding commitment to supporting local families in need. Through donated non-perishable food items, turkeys and hands-on volunteer support, the two organizations are working towards a shared goal to ensure that local families are met with hope, dignity and the love of Christ this holiday season.
