Due to the ongoing storm and its impacts, all Dorchester County Offices, Courts, Libraries and Parks will remain closed on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Please note that Dorchester County Convenience Sites will be open on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
The County will continue to monitor the storm's effects closely and perform comprehensive damage assessments in order to open the rest of our facilities on Friday, August 9, 2024.
Dorchester County Administrative Offices and Dorchester County Courts
All Dorchester County Administrative Offices and Dorchester County Courts will resume their normal operating hours on Friday, August 9, 2024.
Dorchester County Parks
Dorchester County Parks will continue to assess for storm damage. More updates and opening information will be provided once debris is cleared and flooding has receded.

All Dorchester County Public Libraries will resume their regular operating hours on Friday, August 9, 2024.
