Dorchester School District Two’s Administrator’s Symposium is July 29-30 at the Lowcountry Conference Center, Hilton Garden Inn, 406 Sigma Drive, Summerville. This two-day conference is professional development for district and school administrators to prepare for the 2024-2025 school year. Giving back to our community is a signature aspect of the conference with over 100 opportunities to serve at the 2nd Annual DDTwo Serves You event. Each day begins at 7:00 am and concludes at 5:00 pm.
The symposium will kick-off with information sessions on the State of the District, District Expectations, Security Updates (Raptor System – New), and ParentSquare Mass Communications Platform (New). The second half of day one features the district’s community service project, DDTwo Serves You.
At the 2nd Annual DDTwo Serves You event, the district has partnered with the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and YMCA to give back to the community. Service projects include landscaping, painting, pressure washing, cleaning, repairing, reading to students, and donating blood. The district’s community and Business Partners generously give of their time, talents, and treasure to help provide the best available resources to the students and staff of DDTwo.
