The Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation has awarded a $30,000 grant to the CDC Education Foundation in support of its Digital Literacy Program, reinforcing a shared commitment to expanding access to technology skills and digital equity in the Charleston community.
The one-year grant will fund programming designed to strengthen digital literacy, improve access to technology education and support measurable outcomes aligned with community needs.
Comcast NBCUniversal is committed to building a more connected, equitable and just world by strengthening partnerships with community-based organizations and investing in programs that expand opportunity and access. The foundation supports initiatives that promote digital inclusion, workforce readiness and educational advancement.
“We are honored to receive this grant from Comcast NBCUniversal,” said Ernest Andrade, director of the CDC Education Foundation. “These funds enable us to expand our programming at the Charleston Learning Center to better serve the tech education needs of our community.”
The CDC Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, focuses on education initiatives that support workforce readiness, digital inclusion and lifelong learning.
