The City of Charleston will host a public open house on Thursday, April 24 to share updates and gather feedback on the Lowcountry Lowline, a 1.7-mile pedestrian and bicycle greenway that will run along the spine of the Charleston peninsula.
The event follows City Council’s recent approval of a $1.1 million design-build contract, officially launching the first phase of construction.
The open house will run from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Palmetto Brewing Company (289 Huger Street).
This open house is an opportunity for community members to engage with the project team, preview early designs, and learn more about the Lowline.
