On Tuesday, March 24, at 2:30 p.m., the Traffic and Transportation Committee will hold a special meeting to consider proposed changes to city code, including updates related to the regulation of e-bikes. The agenda includes consideration of repealing and replacing sections of the city’s traffic code and amending existing provisions related to bicycles and electric-assisted bicycles. Public participation is available in person and virtually. Residents may also submit comments in advance through the city’s online comment portal.
The meeting will be held at City Council Chambers (80 Broad Street) and streamed live on the City of Charleston’s YouTube channel.
