Due to the forecasted cold temperatures, the following Warming Centers will be open from January 6th to January 9th, 2025. These centers are available to men, women, and children (no pets) seeking shelter from the cold.
Warming Centers Locations and Hours:
Holy City Missions at Aldersgate
- Dates Open: January 6th, 7th, 8th
- Location: 1444 Remount Road, North Charleston
- Admission Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Transportation: CARTA Route 13, pick up and drop off at Remount Rd/Allison Ave

Hibben United Methodist Church
- Dates Open: January 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th
- Location: 690 Coleman Boulevard, Mt. Pleasant
- Admission Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Transportation: Pickup at 68 Columbus Street (near Trident Technical College, Palmer Campus) at 6:30 p.m. each night. Free transportation back to the Center each morning via CARTA.

Seacoast Summerville
- Dates Open: January 6th, 7th, 8th (starting at 9:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.), 9th
- Location: 301 E 5th North St, Summerville, SC
- Admission Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (closure at 7:00 a.m. the following morning)
- Transportation: Board CARTA Route 10 outbound at Meeting Street/Sheppard Street or Meeting Street/Johnson Street stop. Transfer to Tri-County Link at T-Mobile (8751 Rivers Ave) for pick up at 4:10 p.m., 5:16 p.m., or 6:30 p.m.
