The Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System is expanding access to dental care for Veterans across the Lowcountry through a partnership with the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine.
Through the collaboration, the VA Dental Program will increase its clinical capacity by more than 20 percent, helping more Veterans receive timely, comprehensive dental services while creating additional clinical training opportunities for dental residents at MUSC. The expanded program will serve a growing population of more than 110,000 Veterans enrolled in care with the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System.
Ralph H. Johnson VA will formally recognize the expansion with a media day and ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, Oct. 2 at 8:30 a.m.
