The Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System is expanding access to dental care for veterans across the Lowcountry through a partnership with the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine.
Through the collaboration, the VA Dental Program will increase its clinical capacity by more than 20%, helping more veterans receive timely, comprehensive dental services while creating additional clinical training opportunities for dental residents at MUSC.
The expanded program will serve a growing population of more than 110,000 veterans enrolled in care through the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System.
The VA will formally recognize the expansion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, Oct. 2, at 8:30 a.m.
