Charleston County, in partnership with SC Works Trident, will host a hiring event featuring career opportunities in public service on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lonnie Hamilton, III Public Services Building, located at 4045 Bridge View Drive in North Charleston.
During the event, candidates will have the opportunity to speak directly with county staff representing various fields, including Emergency Medical Services, Facilities Maintenance, 911 Dispatch, Fleet Operations, the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, and more.
Attendees are encouraged to bring an updated resume and come prepared for on-site interviews with hiring managers.
Charleston County Government new hires receive a 3 percent annual longevity increase each of their first five years of employment, then additional merit and longevity increases throughout the following years.
