Charleston Animal Society is inviting the community to join a life-saving mission — and get rewarded for it. The organization’s newest program, the Berkeley Paw Pack, offers residents the chance to foster dogs in need, help them find loving homes and earn up to $250 in the process.
“Get paid $250 to save lives!” is the rallying cry for this new initiative, designed to empower animal lovers to make a real difference for homeless dogs in Berkeley County.
Get Started Today
The process to join the Berkeley Paw Pack is simple:
- Foster a dog at the Berkeley Campus and earn $75.
- Keep the dog for 30 days and receive an additional $75.
- Help the dog get adopted and earn another $100.
“We want to turn our community into an adoption machine,” said Charleston Animal Society President and CEO Joe Elmore, CAWA, CFRE. “We provide all the supplies and medical care — you supply the love, and together we will save hundreds of lives.”
Charleston Animal Society’s Berkeley Campus is located at 131 Central Berkeley Drive in Moncks Corner.
Join the Pack
From young professionals to retirees, families to college students — anyone with a little extra space and a big heart can join the Berkeley Paw Pack. The program is an opportunity to be part of something bigger: a local movement to end animal homelessness and give dogs a new start.
Berkeley County sheriff’s deputies and the Goose Creek police chief are supporting the program, which is changing lives — for people and pets — across Berkeley County.
