Anchor Heating and Air, a family-owned Charleston heating and cooling company, was recently ranked as the fastest-growing HVAC contractor in the nation, according to the Inc. 5000 list.
Anchor Heating & Air was named No. 851 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list in its very first year of eligibility, as well as ranking on the Charleston Business Magazine’s Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies.
The ACHR News, a leading trade publication, confirmed Anchor as the top-ranked HVAC contractor on this year's list nationwide, driven by 407% growth over three years.
Anchor is co-owned by Stephanie Postell, a Lowcountry business leader who's also been recognized this year with the Charleston Business Magazine Women in Business Award, named a 2025 Make-A-Wish Lowcountry "Woman of the Year" and named a 2025 Women of Influence honoree by SCBIZ.
On top of their 407% three year growth, Anchor also made it on the “SCBIZ Best Places to Work” list for 2026, ranking in the top 10 for its category, proving a company can grow rapidly while still maintaining employee well-being.
