Due to the threat of severe weather from Hurricane/Tropical Storm Helene, Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) branches and offices will close at 6 pm on Thursday, Sept. 26 (The West Ashley Library will close at 3 pm). Future closures will be announced if needed.
Book drops and automated material returns will also be closed during this time. Patrons are asked to not leave items outside of the book drops. As a reminder, patrons may still access CCPL's digital resources during the closures by visiting ccpl.org.
The meeting of the CCPL Board of Trustees, previously scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 26, will now be held on Thursday, Oct. 3. The time and location, 5:30 pm at the Mt. Pleasant Library, remain unchanged.
