The Dorchester County Water and Sewer Department is issuing a Boil Water Advisory until further notice for the customers of: Azalea Ridge, Cambridge Park, Heron’s Walk, Homecoming, Parker’s Preserve, and Pine Hill Business Park (East Edisto Campus). This advisory is being issued due to an emergency water line repair on the transmission line from Santee Cooper Lake Moultrie Regional Water System.
Customers are advised to boil their water vigorously for at least one full minute before drinking or cooking. Also, any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes. Notification will be given as soon as the water is safe for consumption.

Customers are being asked to use water sparingly. Don’t wash cars or run irrigation systems until the line has been repaired.
