Following the success of previous workshop sessions, the American College of the Building Arts (ACBA) and Redux Contemporary Art Center (Redux) are excited to announce the third round of classes and workshops as part of the Redux Education program, taking place at ACBA and taught by ACBA faculty.
“We are very excited to continue our partnership and grow with Redux to offer creative educational opportunities to the wider community," said Christina Butler, Chair of General Education and Dean of Faculty at American College of Building Arts.
“This is an incredible opportunity for the public to experience completely different artistic mediums,” added Allan Bunch, Executive Director of Redux. “Because of the specialized equipment, most of us would not otherwise have access to this type of experience.

Founded in 2002, Redux Contemporary Art Center is a nonprofit organization committed to fostering creativity and the cultivation of contemporary art through diverse exhibitions, affordable studio space for visual artists, meaningful education and outreach programs, and a multidisciplinary approach to the dialogue between artists and their audiences. Applications for needs-based scholarships to defray or eliminate class fees are available on the Redux website.
The American College of the Building Arts is the only school in the United States that fully integrates professional training in the traditional building trades with a liberal arts core curriculum. ACBA students earn a four-year baccalaureate degree in one of the following specializations: Architectural Carpentry, Blacksmithing, Classical Architecture + Design, Plaster, Architectural Stone, or Timber Framing. Studying at ACBA is a unique experience that allows students to imagine creating additions to the built environment that will last for generations, saving historic structures for the future, and connecting to the past with the objective of bringing a new way of thinking into the next century.
