A Father’s Place (AFP) announced that it has been awarded a $10,000 grant from Bosch Community Fund. The funds will go towards AFP’s STEM Employment Program, which allows participants to pursue meaningful employment by equipping them with the skills and resources they need to thrive.
“Men come to A Father’s Place looking for a way forward,” said Wallace Evans Jr., CEO of A Father’s Place. “With this grant, we can continue helping these fathers pave the way not just for themselves, but for their families.”
These funds will support AFP’s STEM Employment Program, which provides knowledge and resources for fathers to achieve lasting economic stability. The curriculum combines evidence-based workforce strategies with individualized coaching. Participants complete career assessments, develop resumes, create job search plans, and receive one-on-one interview guidance. A key focus of the program is to introduce participants to STEM and skilled-trade career pathways.
