The Charleston Animal Society today announced a new program, “Pet Match Payday,” designed to reward YOU for helping homeless dogs find new homes. With shelters currently overwhelmed by an influx of dogs, the Charleston Animal Society is seeking the community’s help to save lives while putting a little extra cash in your pocket.
The “Pet Match Payday” program offers an incentive of $150 to people who successfully find a home for one of the shelter’s big dogs. With the shelter overcapacity, flooded with adult dogs, the Charleston Animal Society believes that collaboration with the community is the key to giving these animals the second chance they deserve.
THREE EASY STEPS:
1. Get Paired up with a Big Dog from Charleston Animal Society:
Visit the shelter, meet the dogs, and staff will pair you with a dog that fits your family and lifestyle. Charleston Animal Society has a variety of big dogs waiting for loving families.
2. Foster the Dog While You Find it a New Home:
As a foster, you’ll help introduce the dog to potential adopters. Don’t worry about expenses—Charleston Animal Society provides everything you need to care for the dog, including food, bedding, toys, and any medical needs. You focus on sharing the love and promoting the dog, and the shelter will handle the rest.
3. Earn a $150 Visa Gift Card:
Once you find a new family for the dog and finalize the adoption paperwork with Charleston Animal Society, you’ll receive a $150 Visa gift card as a reward for your effort. Once you’ve chosen a dog to foster, the team will walk you through the entire process, answer your questions, and provide you with all the supplies and support you’ll need. The shelter staff will also offer guidance on how to promote your foster dog to potential adopters.
