Target’s Car Seat Trade-In event returns this month, giving Lowcountry parents an easy way to turn old or outgrown car seats into savings. From Sept. 20 through Oct. 3, guests can trade in any car seat at participating stores to receive a 20% Target Circle bonus toward the purchase of new baby gear. Target notes that exclusions apply.
Now in its 10th year, the program has recycled more than 3.8 million car seats, keeping more than 63.7 million pounds of materials out of landfills. The recycled materials have been transformed into more than 2 million Brightroom and Room Essentials products, according to Target.
Alongside the event, Target is highlighting new inventory and limited-time savings across several essential baby categories:
- New and exclusive brands: Recent additions include Olivia Culpo’s exclusive Picolette line, updated Cloud Island diaper bags, UPPAbaby gear and Target-exclusive organic feeding options.
- Featured savings: Guests can take advantage of rotating discounts on diapers, toiletries, toys, apparel and feeding supplies throughout the event.
