Target’s biannual Car Seat Trade-In event has returned this month, marking a decade of helping Charleston parents turn old or outgrown car seats into savings. From April 19 to May 2, guests can bring any car seat to participating stores to receive a 20% Target Circle bonus to use on new gear.
Over the last decade, the trade-in event has kept 58 million pounds of materials out of landfills, recycling them into more than 690,000 Brightroom and Room Essentials products.
This year’s 10th anniversary event goes beyond the discount, with in-store experiences and giveaways designed to help families shop for their growing households. Target will host in-store giveaways and samples of baby essentials on April 25 and 26 to help guests discover what’s new in the baby department. A full list of participating Charleston locations is available online.
This year also marks the first Car Seat Trade-In event with Baby Concierge and Baby Boutique, which launched in three stores across South Carolina in March, offering both in-person and virtual support tailored to local shoppers’ needs.
The Car Seat Trade-In and giveaway events build on Target’s commitment to helping guests shop for baby items with confidence and ease. More information on the program is available online.
