Tanger Outlets Charleston is welcoming a wave of new retailers in 2026 and beyond. The center is adding a mix of national brands and locally inspired concepts.
This summer brings three new additions: Abercrombie & Fitch, Swarovski and Simply Southern. Abercrombie & Fitch will offer its modern, elevated take on casual apparel and accessories for men and women in a 7,000-square-foot store near Kay Jewelers, while Swarovski will showcase its signature collection of precision-cut crystals, jewelry and accessories in a 1,400-square-foot space near Sunglass Hut. Reflecting the region’s relaxed style and charm, Simply Southern rounds out the summer openings with bright, Southern-inspired clothing, accessories and gifts in a 4,500-square-foot space next to GAP.
Bringing a creative experience to the center, Palmetto Clayground will open next month in a 2,300-square-foot space near Sephora, offering guests of all ages the opportunity to paint ceramics and canvases, or explore glass art, in a walk-in studio environment. Spring Step will also debut nearby in a 2,400-square-foot store, featuring European-inspired footwear that blends comfort with everyday style.
“These additions reflect our ongoing commitment to creating a vibrant shopping destination that combines leading national retailers with unique local concepts,” said Andrea Gervacio, Marketing Director at Tanger Charleston. “By introducing a variety of new brands throughout the year, we continue to enhance the guest experience, truly offering something for everyone at Tanger Charleston and reinforcing the center’s role as a community hub for the Lowcountry.”
Further growth is underway with Shake Shack and First National Bank currently under construction. Shake Shack will occupy 3,500 square feet near Palmetto Moon, bringing a highly anticipated new dining option to the center, while First National Bank, conveniently located in a parking lot outparcel, will add financial services. Both are scheduled to open in 2027 and 2028, expanding the variety of experiences available to visitors.
The new retailers complement other recently opened stores, including lululemon, Auntie Anne's | Jamba Juice and The Children’s Place, which joined Tanger Charleston in 2025.
