Personal finance website WalletHub today released its report on States with the Highest & Lowest Tax Rates, and found South Carolina had the 9th lowest in the nation.

Here's what they found:

Tax Rates in South Carolina (1=Lowest; 25=Avg.):

• 9^th – Overall Effective State & Local Tax Rate
• 19^th – Income Tax
• 5^th – Real-Estate Tax
• 15^th – Sales & Excise Taxes
