SC Works Trident is partnering with economic development leaders from Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties to host four workforce career fairs in September, as part of Workforce Development Month throughout the state of South Carolina.
Each county economic development department will co-host a job fair to maximize opportunities for job seekers to connect with the region’s top private sector and public sector employers and learn more about the open positions available. Pre-registration is not required.
- Berkeley Workforce Career Fair: Wednesday, September 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Berkeley County Administration Building, 1003 Highway 52 in Moncks Corner.
- Public Service Career Fair: Wednesday, September 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Charleston Area Convention Center, 5001 Coliseum Drive, North Charleston.
- Dorchester Workforce Career Fair: Tuesday, September 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Trident Technical College - Dorchester Campus, 10055 Dorchester Rd. in Summerville.
- Charleston Workforce Career Fair: Wednesday, September 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ECPI University, 3800 Paramount Dr. in North Charleston.
To capitalize on the benefits of the event, attendees should observe the following guidelines:
- Bring an updated resume to each hiring event.
- Be prepared for an on-site interview or apply on the spot.
- Email an updated resume to employers if needed.

Workforce Development Month was started by Governor McMaster to highlight the talent of South Carolina’s workforce, promote more opportunities to connect job seekers with employers, and celebrate the vibrant industries throughout the state.
