Moxy Charleston Downtown (Moxy) on Monday launched a new dog-friendly stay package for guests to travel with their furry friends.
In celebration of National Dog Day on August 26th, Moxy has launched its “Woof + Wander” package, making it easier than ever for guests to bring their 4-legged friends on vacation. The pet-friendly hotel has waived all pet fees for those who book the package, allowing guests to enjoy the benefit at no additional cost.
The Moxy subscribes to an “It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere” philosophy, and that mantra is on display from the moment guests check in at the bar and are welcomed with a complimentary cocktail to begin their stay. With the pup package, pet parents and their companions will be greeted with not only a cocktail, but also a Moxy-branded dog bowl, and a dog treat from a Charleston-local favorite, Woof Gang Bakery, located less than 10 minutes from the hotel.
Pets are welcomed at Bar Moxy, the hotel’s rooftop patio overlooking the rooftop bar and terrace with a panoramic view of the iconic Ravenel Bridge. The rooftop lobby invites guests to connect and play on over a game of fetch, or attend one of the weekly themed events.
“Moxy is all about bringing the fun, being bold, and bending the rules - and sometimes you need the ultimate sidekick on your adventure” said Moxy Director of Sales Sarah Parrish. “No one is left out of the good times, and that includes your furry friends. We wanted to take away the worries of finding a sitter or boarding service, and encourage guests to create some fun memories with their pets.”
The Woof + Wander package will kick off with a special week-long giveaway on August 26th, National Dog Day. The giveaway will be hosted on the @MoxyCharleston Instagram page, where followers can enter to win a gift basket full of dog-approved goodies from local Charleston area businesses including Huk Outdoors, Palmetto Pup Co., and Woof Gang Bakery.
The Moxy opened in April 2023 and features 131 guest rooms, a first-floor Starbucks café, large meeting space, and lobby bar and lounge.
