Longevity Club, located at 163 Rutledge Avenue, is proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its flagship location on November 15. Since opening the doors in November 2015, owner Jennie Brooks has set the standard for total mind-body connection, offering an integrated approach to health, fitness, and wellness all in a serene atmosphere.
Brooks opened Longevity as a boutique fitness center on the fourth floor of 163 Rutledge, offering group classes, wellness services, and personal training. She grew the business over the years, acquiring a second floor, then eventually purchasing the entire building in 2021. She has since expanded the club to all four floors, which spans more than 11,000 square feet. With each additional floor she has created a dedicated space for the Charleston community and beyond to achieve comprehensive fitness, health and wellness.
Longevity Club offers more than 100 small group classes a week, including Pilates, Yoga, TRX, HIIT Circuit, Barre, as well as “Sweat Therapy” and “Sculpt Therapy”, cardio and strength-based classes created by Brooks and set to the beat of an inspiring playlist. Throughout the four floors, members and guests also utilize a 2,500-square-foot open gym with top-tier equipment, a private training suite, and three Pilates studios. In addition, Longevity Club boasts an 1,800-square-foot wraparound terrace, where Longevity frequently holds member mixers and community events.
Longevity also has a comprehensive wellness program with two private recovery lounges featuring infrared saunas, red light therapy, and a zero-gravity massage chair. Other wellness offerings include a roof-top cold plunge, stretch therapy, massage therapy, physical therapy by Enliven Movement, organic facials, sound baths, and regular wellness workshops with professionals from around the globe. Functional medicine by Solcara Health will also be offered within the building at 163 Rutledge beginning this fall.
Brooks and Longevity Club have created a community of more than 500 like-minded members who value personalized fitness and a holistic approach to overall well-being while enjoying a serene and inspiring environment. Brooks reflects, “Looking back at how we began 10 years ago to where we are today is a milestone moment for me and the team.” Brooks continues, “Longevity’s mission is to promote health, wellness, and community and I feel fortunate to service Charleston in this way.”
